Jennifer Eales regards herself as being more passionate about her industry today than she was when she first embarked on her career 38 years ago.

South African born Eales trained in London in the 1970’s and launched The ‘Jennifer Jane’ clinic in Avonmore Center in 1975, the first in a line of clinics that have been nurtured by Eales over the past two decades. In 1983 the clinic was moved into a 4 roomed cottage at the back of her 9th Avenue property, with a frontage onto 10th Avenue and has since grown in size and strength since its inception over 20 years ago.

Eales contends that her involvement with Dermalogica, her product of choice for over the last fifteen years, is what has enabled her to grow her business exponentially from the original 4 room cottage to a 9 room clinic with 4 therapists.

In addition to the Durban based clinics, Eales is also involved in a number of exclusive and niche clinics in private lodges and hotels across South Africa. The first of these was the Singita Private Games Lodges in Mpumalanga, where Eales now oversees three spas with 7 therapists. In addition to Singita, Eales is also involved in the Wellness Center at the Champagne Castle Hotel and Canelands Beach Club & Spar.
